Hi there! I’m Lindsay, the owner and photographer of Foto Lumiere. Let me tell you a little about myself; I am a wife and mother of three. I have loved photography since I was a child, and it became a passion of mine when I was in high school, developing my own film in the dark room. Back before digital cameras were really a thing! My style is simple, genuine, and natural. A sweet moment between siblings while playing in the grass, the first smiles of a newborn baby swaddled in a cozy blanket, the promising love and excitement of a newly engaged couple. These are the memories that I am eager to capture for you and feel honored to witness. Because for me, photographing people isn’t just about getting the perfect pose with the best smiles. It’s about freezing those honest moments, the sincere impressions that I get to document for your remembrance.
One of the most important things for me to convey is that I believe we are all a part of one human family, inextricably linked, and it is up to us to remold our relationships in a way that honors our oneness. For me, part of that includes community building efforts and social justice work. Another way that I can participate in this integrative process is through my small business; the way I interact with my clients and present my work. How I deal with customer service and collaborate with other small businesses. My priority is honesty, integrity, and the relationships I build in the community.
