Hi there! Thank you for booking your Glitter Mini Session with us. We’re so excited to see you for your session! We will be shooting these sessions indoors. Each session is 30 minutes. We will be shooting back to back, so your timely arrival is super important.  The glitter sessions are great for anyone but we want to make sure that those participating won’t eat the confetti, as it’s a choking hazard.  We will be playing with, tossing, and frolicking in glitter confetti, so keep that in mind ;)  My 7 year old and 3 year old daughters had so much fun shooting the promo photos for this—we will have music playing and some snacks available— these session are fun for all ages!

We will be using a dark gray backdrop with multi-colored metallic confetti.  This will help you plan your outfit(s) accordingly.

The mini sessions are $165 which include 5 digitally enhanced images from your online proof gallery, with the option to purchase additional images if desired. Individual images will be $35/each and the option to purchase the entire gallery will be priced at $150 (there will be 10+ images in your online gallery). Online galleries will be delivered via email within one week of your session.

These sessions are super fun, but there is a tiny bit of prep work. You will want to let the participants of the session know that they will be throwing and playing in confetti. Most think this is fun but there could be some people that have sensory issues and may not like walking around on the confetti (my 3 year old daughter loved playing with the confetti but absolutely refused to walk around barefoot on the confetti, she really did not like it sticking to her feet). We will do whatever we need to make the participants comfortable if they decide they don’t like prancing around in front of the camera in glitter. It is helpful if you explain to the participants what we’ll be doing in the session. Most of the time, kiddos are excited and have no problems throwing confetti around, but sometimes we get surprised! Plan for contingencies just in case like bringing an extra change of clothes, shoes to wear during the session, or a hat/umbrella/etc. if they may be sensitive to the confetti touching their head/feet/etc.

I have a Pinterest board for inspiration on outfits and looks. You may choose to view it here if you’d like! I always recommend wearing whatever the participant is comfortable in or excited to wear whether that’s a flowy dress, jeans or suspenders and a bowtie. Lighter colors tend to pop more off the dark gray backdrop. Darker colors will blend in more with the backdrop and will contrast well against the metallic confetti.

Please let me know if you have any questions! We’re excited to see you for the Glitter session!
